Acts 1:1-11
Jesus’ Mission Continues:
• Through God’s people (2b-8).
• By the Holy Spirit’s power (2b, 5, 8).
John 16:7
Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your
advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away,
the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will
send him to you.
John 16:13
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you
into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own
authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and
he will declare to you the things that are to come.
John 7:38-39
“Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has
said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living
water.’ Now this he said about the Spirit, whom
those who believed in him were to receive, for as
yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus
was not yet glorified.”
