The Pioneering Quality Librarians at SLWA
• Position created in 2006 as part of a
restructure of library operations.
• Vision for the Role: “ensures quality and
integrity of data on the library management
system”.
The first quality librarian sat with cataloguing
staff in the Access team and was originally a
cataloguer.
