DO YOU TRUST IN GOD?
Genesis 12:1 Now the LORD had said to Abram:
"Get out of your country, From your family And
from your father's house, To a land that I will
show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will
bless you And make your name great; And you
shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless
you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in
you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
4 So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to
him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was
seventy-five years old when he departed from
Haran.
Genesis 18:9 Then they said to him, "Where is Sarah your
wife?" So he said, "Here, in the tent." 10 And He said, "I
will certainly return to you according to the time of life,
and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son." (Sarah was
listening in the tent door which was behind him.) 11 Now
Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and
Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. 12 Therefore
Sarah laughed within herself, saying, "After I have grown
old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?" 13
And the LORD said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh,
saying, 'Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?' 14 "Is
anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I
will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah
shall have a son." 15 But Sarah denied it, saying, "I did
not laugh," for she was afraid. And He said, "No, but you
did laugh!"
Genesis 22:1 Now it came to pass after these
things that God tested Abraham, and said to him,
"Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am." 2 Then He
said, "Take now your son, your only son Isaac,
whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and
offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the
mountains of which I shall tell you." 3 So
Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled
his donkey, and took two of his young men with
him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for
the burnt offering, and arose and went to the
place of which God had told him.
Job 1:12 And the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, all that he
has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his
person." So Satan went out from the presence of the
LORD. 13 Now there was a day when his sons and
daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest
brother's house; 14 and a messenger came to Job and
said, "The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding
beside them, 15 "when the Sabeans raided them and
took them away -- indeed they have killed the servants
with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to
tell you!" 16 While he was still speaking, another also
came and said, "The fire of God fell from heaven and
burned up the sheep and the servants, and consumed
them; and I alone have escaped to tell you!"
17 While he was still speaking, another also came and
said, "The Chaldeans formed three bands, raided the
camels and took them away, yes, and killed the servants
with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to
tell you!" 18 While he was still speaking, another also
came and said, "Your sons and daughters were eating and
drinking wine in their oldest brother's house, 19 "and
suddenly a great wind came from across the wilderness
and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the
young people, and they are dead; and I alone have
escaped to tell you!" 20 Then Job arose, tore his robe,
and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and
worshiped. 21 And he said: "Naked I came from my
mother's womb, And naked shall I return there. The LORD
gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name
of the LORD." 22 In all this Job did not sin nor charge God
with wrong.
Acts 5:17 Then the high priest rose up, and all
those who were with him (which is the sect of the
Sadducees), and they were filled with
indignation, 18 and laid their hands on the
apostles and put them in the common prison. 19
But at night an angel of the Lord opened the
prison doors and brought them out, and said, 20
"Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people
all the words of this life."
Matthew 10:28 "And do not fear those who kill
the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear
Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in
hell.
Acts 5:29 But Peter and the other apostles
answered and said: "We ought to obey God rather
than men. 30 "The God of our fathers raised up
Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree.
31 "Him God has exalted to His right hand to be
Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel
and forgiveness of sins. 32 "And we are His
witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy
Spirit whom God has given to those who obey
Him."
Acts 5:40 And they agreed with him, and when
they had called for the apostles and beaten them,
they commanded that they should not speak in
the name of Jesus, and let them go. 41 So they
departed from the presence of the council,
rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer
shame for His name. 42 And daily in the temple,
and in every house, they did not cease teaching
and preaching Jesus as the Christ.

Matthew 6:24 " No one can serve two masters; for either
he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be
loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve
God and mammon. 25 " Therefore I say to you, do not
worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will
drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not
life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26
"Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap
nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds
them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 "Which of
you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? 28 "So
why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of
the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29
"and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory
was not arrayed like one of these.
30 "Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which
today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He
not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31
"Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or
'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 "For
after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly
Father knows that you need all these things. 33 "But seek
first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all
these things shall be added to you. 34 "Therefore do not
worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its
own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
