Day and wear your class colors!
• Please follow the guidelines in the handbook.
• Just a reminder
• Handbook forms and locker combinations are
due TODAY.
• Attention JOA Scholars!
• Please join the NEW Edmodo group for the
2015-2016 school year. The code is: cj67bg
• We will meet during the first session of the
first CCW on September 9th.
• The bookstore is open from 7:15 to 7:45 in the
mornings before homeroom and during lunch.
Any student interested in working the
bookstore during her lunch period or in the
morning should see Ms. Hudock in room 210.
• Any student who preordered a computer case,
they are available in the ARC between classes
and during lunch. You must have your $12.
• See Mrs. Haslett with questions.
Attention writers, photographers,
cartoonists, and editors.
• The OC Eagle Eye will be holding two meetings for
interested students:
• - The first meeting will take place during the first
CCW session on Wednesday, Sept. 9, in room
205.
• - If you cannot attend the first meeting, a second
meeting will be held after school on Thursday,
Sept. 10, in room 205.
• New members are always welcome. Please see
Mr. Finnegan if you have questions.
• Anyone interested in playing Softball this year
there will be practice next Wednesday
September 9th at Paul Schuillo Field after
school. If interested in playing please see Julia
Vrable or Janet Tracey. The Softball Coach
Chris Marak will be at all lunches Tuesday
Sept. 8th to answer any questions about
Oakland Catholic Softball. Go Eagles!!
OC Ski and Snowboard Club:
Students who would like to join the OC Ski and
Snowboard Club for 2015-2016 please use the
edmodo code: zr7akn in order to join the
edmodo group.
In addition, there will be a brief informational
meeting after school on Wednesday, September
9 at 2:33 PM in room 202 with Mr. Kornosky
• The yearbooks have arrived! See Mrs. Flynn
BETWEEN CLASSES in room J202 by Friday,
September 4th. If you would like to purchase
one, see Mrs. Flynn or email her at

• Interested in joining the speech or debate
team? Come to the opening meeting for the
2015-16 Forensics season after school on
Thursday, September 10th in the JOA Theater.
See Mr. MacDonald or Mrs. Rinkacs if you
have any questions.
• All GCI members are required to attend the
meeting on the first CCW day on September 9.
• All FRESHMEN who are interested in the program
should come, even if they are not yet signed up.
• Any SOPHOMORE who did not participate last
year ,but who would like to join this year should
come to the meeting.
