Welcome to Melbourne
Melbourne is a vibrant and friendly city with a passionate spirit and a
youthful culture. It is the top city in Australia for fashion, nightlife, music,
comedy, eating out, sports and cultural events. And everyone knows
what a great country Australia is!
“Multi-cultured, multi-layered, marvellously arty Melbourne”
“Melbourne is cosmopolitan, suburban, cultivated, conservative and a
haven for the avant-garde. Visitors come for its shopping, restaurants,
nightlife and sporting calendar, and most agree that it's one of the
world's most liveable cities.”

and shopping, a passion for food and wine, and fabulous arts.
Outside Melbourne, you’ll find a host of regional attractions, from
the Little Fairy Penguins to the spectacular Great Ocean Road. The
people are friendly and ‘down to earth’.
On the weekends or during breaks you can learn to surf, visit many
wineries, see the koalas and kangaroos, go hiking or shop, shop,
