LOVE ONE ANOTHER
1 Corinthians 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues
of men and of angels, but have not love, I have
become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And
though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand
all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have
all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have
not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my
goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to
be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love
does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not
behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not
provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in
iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things,
believes all things, hopes all things, endures all
things. 8 Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abide faith, hope,
love, these three; but the greatest of these is
love.
Colossians 3: 12 Therefore, as the elect of God,
holy and beloved, put on tender mercies,
kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13
bearing with one another, and forgiving one
another, if anyone has a complaint against
another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also
must do.
14 But above all these things put on love, which
is the bond of perfection.
1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know
God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was
manifested toward us, that God has sent His only
begotten Son into the world, that we might live
through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved
God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be
the propitiation for our sins.
2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our
Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for
your sakes He became poor, that you through His
poverty might become rich.
Romans 5:6 For when we were still without
strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die;
yet perhaps for a good man someone would even
dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love
toward us, in that while we were still sinners,
Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now
been justified by His blood, we shall be saved
from wrath through Him.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conduct be without
covetousness; be content with such things as you
have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave
you nor forsake you." 6 So we may boldly say:
"The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can
man do to me?"
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we
keep His commandments. And His
commandments are not burdensome
John 13:34 "A new commandment I give to you,
that you love one another; as I have loved you,
that you also love one another. 35 "By this all
will know that you are My disciples, if you have
love for one another."
Galatians 5:13 For you, brethren, have been
called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an
opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve
one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one
word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor
as yourself." 15 But if you bite and devour one
another, beware lest you be consumed by one
another!
Matthew 20:27 "And whoever desires to be first
among you, let him be your slave -- 28 "just as
the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to
serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.",
Romans 12:9 Let love be without hypocrisy.
Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10 Be
kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly
love, in honor giving preference to one another;
Luke 6:27 " But I say to you who hear: Love your
enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28
"bless those who curse you, and pray for those
who spitefully use you.
1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent love
for one another, for "love will cover a multitude
of sins."
Matthew 19:6 "So then, they are no longer two
but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined
together, let not man separate."
Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as
to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as
also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of
the body. 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to
Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in
everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ
also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that
He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of
water by the word, 27 that He might present her to
Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or
any such thing, but that she should be holy and without
blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives
as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and
cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.
1 Corinthians 7:3 Let the husband render to his
wife the affection due her, and likewise also the
wife to her husband. 4 The wife does not have
authority over her own body, but the husband
does. And likewise the husband does not have
authority over his own body, but the wife does. 5
Do not deprive one another except with consent
for a time, that you may give yourselves to
fasting and prayer; and come together again so
that Satan does not tempt you because of your
lack of self-control.
Titus 2:3 the older women likewise, that they be
reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to
much wine, teachers of good things -- 4 that they
admonish the young women to love their
husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet,
chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own
husbands, that the word of God may not be
blasphemed.
