How To Save A “Captured Image” As An Image File With “Traditional MS Paint”

Step . “Capture” whatever you see on your
screen as a “captured image” by tapping the
“Print Screen” key once.

Step . Select by “dragging” your mouse.
Then, move your cursor inside of the
selected rectangle to right-click and copy:

Step . Open the “Paint” application.
Then, paste the captured image:
Edit => Paste
If you don’t need an image file, you can
now paste this into Word or Powerpoint!

In Paint, open a new blank file:
File => New Click No to save changes.
Paste it.

Step . You will see the “captured” screen
appear in “Paint” as one large selection.
Now, select what you want to save.

Step . Then, Edit => Paste your
selected image. You are ready to resize
the window by “dragging” a point:
“Captured screen” appears.

Step . Click on the Select button.
This allows you to select what you want.
