• Jarrett was my younger brother. He
was born December 21, 1990. On
December 23, 1994 at the age of four
he was diagnosed with Leukemia.
Four years later at the age of 8 he
relapsed. In March of 1999 he went
through a bone marrow transplant. He
was 5 years in remission when in
March of 2004 he was diagnosed with
a terminal brain tumor.
• The tumor was removed, we knew once it
started to grow back he would only have a
short period of time to live. In September
of 2004 it did indeed start to grow back.
On January 9, 2005 he passed away at
the age of 14. Even though he was young,
he had a great view of life, something
most adults don’t ever find. This is his
story.
