To access this list, go to EDS > WAMS > WaKIDS, and select WaKIDS Download • The file includes all students from SSID issuance when: o School and grade were provided o Students' grades are 'KG‘ o SSID was issued after 5/1/15 • You will need to modify the file as necessary (add classID; remove unnecessary records), and save in .csv format for upload to GOLD™ http://www.k12.wa.us/WaKIDS/default.aspx 15 District CEDARS Administrators and SSID Issuance • Students must have State Student Identifiers (SSIDs) to be entered into GOLD™ by Teaching Strategies® o Generally the creation of SSIDs occurs through a CEDARS submission. Since districts don’t usually send CEDARS submissions early in the school year, school districts may use the CEDARS SSID Issuance processes instead. • We communicated 8/24 with District CEDARS Administrators through the SIMON distribution list to alert them that they must obtain SSIDs by using SSID Issuance as soon as possible but before 9/15. o Records sent through issuance must include the grade and school or they will not flow into the WAMS application that DACs will use to retrieve pre-populated student templates. http://www.k12.wa.us/WaKIDS/default.aspx 16 Locating the Student Import Tool in GOLD™ by Teaching Strategies ® 1. Enter your user name and password to log into GOLD™ at http://teachingstrategies.com 2.
