Current Process  User accesses web-based 'wizard' application  Completes FPCA online  Downloads FPCA as PDF  Provided with instructions and mailing address to return signed original by postal mail  Option to save personal info in 'My Voter Account'

Next Step  Supplement current process by allowing electronic transfer of FPCA info to the states  eliminate states' need to re-key info from paper application  paper application serves as verification  alert states to pending requests, allows proactive follow-up with lost applications
