What is Title I?
Title I, Part A is a federally funded program under the
Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. TCMS is a School-wide Title I School
with strong focus on parental notification and involvement.

Using Title I funds
Title I funds are used to:
Implement parent involvement activities such as parent
workshops and faculty training
Hire additional teachers to provide interventions and allow for
flexible grouping in reduced class size models
Conduct tutoring during the school year and during the summer
Provide professional learning opportunities for our teachers
Provide supplies and computer applications to supplement
student learning
