You can choose to be happy or you can
choose to be sad. Here we will give you
some simple tips on how to be happy
and get more from life.

We all know that life is not always
going to make us happy, it’s going to
make us sad and we will face periods
where we feel hard done by.
The attitude you need is to take is the
positive from everything.

Keep in mind that sometimes you may
feel hard done by, but consider other
people who are much worse off than
you and believe me there are billions.

Many people bear grudges that stop them being
happy.
It doesn’t matter who the grudge is against, an ex
partner or business colleague – You need to move in.
Many people use a bad experience as an excuse not
to be happy “it’s all their fault” is a common quote you
hear from many people.
Bearing grudges is a waste of energy and simply
makes people bitter.
Learn to move on and put it out of your mind.

Express your affection, love, appreciation, friendship,
warmth and sincerity to all those you come into contact
with.
By doing this you will probably get a positive response
from most people in return.
Many doors could be opened to you in terms of
opportunities such as, in your work or maybe even in
your love life.

You spend a huge amount of time
at work, so make sure you do
something you enjoy.
If you do not enjoy your work your
overall happiness will suffer.
If you are in a job you don’t like,
make a plan to get into one that
you do.

If you want to be happy then you
need to enjoy your body.
A healthy body leads to healthy
mind, make sure you keep it in
good condition eat sensibly and
exercise.
If you do, you will feel invigorated,
full of energy and avoid disease
and illness.

Of course, we can’t do everything we want to do in life,
but you can do at least some things.

Make me time.
Do something that you really want to do that gives you
a sense of achievement or makes you happy.
It doesn’t matter what it is – maybe running a
marathon, or learning to play the guitar - It really
doesn’t matter, so long as it is something you want to
do.

People who have plans and objectives in life seem to be
happier than those who don’t.
Why?
Simply because they get more out of life, as they plan
their time better.
They do more, achieve more, and are generally happier.

Life is what you make it
This is a true statement.

You can choose to be happy, or you can choose to be
depressed – Happiness is a state of mind and we can
all be happy if we want to and following the above tips
will help you.
Fear less, hope more;
Whine less, breathe more;
Talk less, say more;
Hate less, love more;
And all good things are yours.
