The forest of Rudiskes. Two lakes left after an ice-age look like little eyes closing before falling asleep.

Trakai island castle is a masterpiece of Lithuanian medieval defensive architecture. The castle was began to build in XIV century and it was the residence of the Grand Dukes.

Raudones castle. Horrific stories are told about this castle perhaps because there was a concentration camp.

On the very top of Zemaitija Highlands there is the lake of Plateliai with picturesque peninsulas and islands.

The Gray (Dead) dunes are locations of former settlements which have been buried in sand.

The dune of Parnidis beside Nida. On the top of the dune there is set up a lookout station. If you want that your travel to Nida would be completed, you must visit this place.

Pervalka is the smallest settlement in Neringa. Since Viking times boats have been carried here from the sea to the lagoon.

The construction and reconstruction of the bridge in Palanga lasts more than a century. Started in 1884, now reaches almost a half of kilometre.

Telsiai is the capital of Zemaitija.

The Lentvaris estate and park. The neo-Gothic form palace has already been reconstructed twice. It became a private property and it is waiting for renovation again.

Two lakes are in the forest which is near the Ginuciai mill. From a hill, known as the Witch’s Nose, are seen both lakes: one is green and the other is blue.

A neo-Gothic style church, built on a former mound, is the ornament of Zasliai.

Dubingiai mound is the biggest in Lithuania. After a secret wedding with Žygimantas Augustas his wife Barbora Radvilaitė hid here for the whole winter.

Devil’s Pit (40 m depth) is a unique place. Enthusiasts who measure the geo – biofields say that they are so strong here that it is impossible to measure them with usual devices, because the readings are simply too high for their scales.

Minge is called “The Lithuanian Venice”, because boats must be used to visit a neighbour.
