What is AkshayJal?
Akshay Jal is the new age mantra to eradicate the complex and acute drinking
water problem of India. With Emphasis on social development, various
governmental agencies, NGO’s and private players have tried their hand at
addressing this issue for the past 30 years, but the problem persists and increases
more with the population explosion coupled with apathy, a clear lack of
persistence in implementing various schemes and the lack of a Sustainable
solution
“Akshay Jal – Perennial Water for All” is the solution. At Akshay Jal, we believe that
with the right technology and the formula of Social Enterprise, we can empower
the Indian masses to completely eradicate the growing menace that our society
today faces due to lack of this basic but very essential Drinking water.
At Akshay Jal, our goal is not only to produce WHO standard quality water, but also
to ensure that it reaches the masses through a very effective and robust
distribution system at a cost that is within their reach. Over and above this, such a
model must be viable and must generate its own revenue to empower the
operators to consistently maintain the ethos of what Akshay Jal stands for.

Project Roadmap & Details
• Surveys will be done to identify the villages which are having water but the
quality of water is not consumable.
• This identification of the village will also be in line with primary motive of
improving the IMAGE of ruling party and providing them with a solid base for
constantly promoting their achievements and schemes through advertisement
from here.
• The project implementation will take just 20 days in making each i-booth
(purification and dispensing unit) operative.
• Such small span of time will surely give this project an edge on implementation
front because the PROJECT GETS A GLORIFIED acknowledgment by the local
residents on its, on time delivery which was committed on the launch.
• Our designing of processing units which are known as I-Booths is so unique that
it takes very small space of 12x12 mtrs to produce 10,000 litres of purified
water in a day for a village of 2000 people.
• To run this project we will employ local people generally women so that
employment is generated and at the same time WORD OF MOUTH publicity is
also achieved by the implementation.
• We will also be offering our Operation and Maintenance services through
agreement for running each unit for next 7 years, so that long term benefits are
ensured through this project.
