Note: This curriculum encourage instructors to get creative to gain students’ attention. For example using a clip from
movie that has a jaw dropping scene. Then allow the participants to discuss in an open form format.

Notes: Allowing participants to share personal experiences helps to bring about empathy and connections. Everyone
can relate to each. For its children, others, siblings, spouses etc. Life experiences are also a great way to connect. Don’t
disassociate with your participants, Let them know you are human and have issues as well. You will gain their respect.
Have a lot of fun creating games

Notes: Allow your mind to run wild. Always include yourself into the activities. This can work as quick assessment to
ensure that the participants are pay attention and are retaining the information. If they are engaged they are attentive and
are learning.
