The evaluation process is divided into 3 Stages.
ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLIANCE
TECHNICAL COMPLIANCE
PRICE AND PREFERENCE
Failure to comply with any item of any phase will invalidate your bid and
it will not be evaluated further.
ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLIANCE
• Bidders must submit :
• Original and Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Certified Copy of the company registration certificate. CIPC.
• Original or Certified Copy of Tool and Die Maker Certificate of
Qualification.
• Completion of the SBD forms SBD 1, SBD 3.1. SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD8
and SBD 9.
•Original or Copy certified of MEIBC Certificate
•Previous experience accompanied by a reference letter from a referee
for similar work done with Maching of Deformation Monitoring
accessories or Precision Equipment.
•Completed and signed Tentative Programs and Data sheet.
•Technical Brochure and information which provide complete technical
details of the specified model
TECHINICAL COMPLIANCE
• Standard, Technical and General Specification as set out in technical
specifications of the bid document and the compliance thereof
•The bid will be rendered non responsive if the bidder fails to complete
the comply on the “ Comply/ Not Comply” section of the specification and
will not be considered for phase 3
Phase 3: Evaluation of Price, rates and preference point claimed
• The bid will be evaluated using 80/20. whereby the maximum point that
can be claimed for price is 80 and 20 for BBBEE.
•Original or Certified copy of the BBBEE certificate must be submitted
with bid in order to claim preference points.
•Failure to submit the BBBEE certificate your bid will not be invalidated
but you wont be able to claim any preference points.
• Trust, Consortium or Joint Venture must submit a consolidated BBBEE
status Level Verification Certificate.
