A BRIEF HISTORY

AMERICAN FREIGHT FORWARDERS, INC: In February of 1986, the company was incorporated with the Securities and Exchange Commission as American Express Forwarders, Inc. and simultaneously was given a certification by the CAB to operate as both domestic and international forwarding agent steered by its dynamic president, & CEO Mr.

Johnny G. Violeta, then, continuously been working in the forwarding industry for the past 4 decades. The company was accredited as member by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in December of the same year.

Inspired by its success in the first year of international operations, the management updated and improved its facilities both in machinery and human resources. As a result the company continued growing stronger as evidenced by the awards garnered during the past several years, By strong airfreight reputation and popular support, our international sea freight services was launched in mid 1987 with considerable success and progress. Our consolidation services covers the entire AMERICA, provided a string of competition in westbound USA consolidation services. AMERICAN FREIGHT emerged as top grosser in the international airfreight forwarding market in the 1990 ’s, in the records of Korean Airlines and with Philippine Airlines.

To be at par with more stringent international cargo forwarding business the company sought and successfully passed the rigors of the ISO 9001:2000 QMS certification issued by TUV Philippines and later the ISO 9001:2008 QMS by the ABS Quality Evaluation, these confirms the continuing improvement of our company. Thru its clients, AMERICAN FREIGHT has become customary with the compliance , undertaking and tests of CTPAT ( (USA) assessment and its regulations .

Recently, American Freight celebrated it’s 29 th year with a strong determination to continue and pass-on its good reputation of quality service as a legacy to the next generation.
