Ervaringen
• Gevoelige meetsystemen, specifiek ontworpen voor detectie van radioactiviteit
in metaalschroot → groot aantal alarmen
• Umicore: voornamelijk NORM (overzichtslijst van wat aanvaardbaar is)
• Aurubis: focus op koperschroot: bv. bron in loden houder, in lading
koperschroot → lage activiteit op de wand van de vrachtwagen. Indien niet
gedetecteerd mogelijk zeer ernstige gevolgen bij insmelten!
