Our PTA AGM will be held on June 14 at 6:30pm.
We will be electing our executive for the 2011-2012
school year. Visit your PTA website to review the
upcoming agenda. All parents and caregivers are
always welcome!!!
Childcare is provided during the meetings by our
Grade 6 students. All babysitters are Red Cross
certified.
SCHOOL BREAKFAST
Our annual PTA breakfast will be on June 24th
As we will celebrate the end of another successful
year by providing a healthy breakfast for St.
Stephen's students to share together with their
teachers. We will need 10 volunteers to help with
this event. Contact Andrea ([email protected]) or

Grade 6 Closing will be June 28th
Parents will provide refreshments and decorate the gym in honour of
our senior students as they mark the end of their school days with St.
Stephen’s and look forward to new adventures. Traditionally, Grade 5
parents are asked to help set-up (9-12:30) as well as help with hosting the
Grade 6 students and their families during the event from 12:45 – 3pm.

Teachers Luncheon June 29th
We need donations of lunch items from parents for food (savory lunch dishes,
salads and dessert) and set-up/clean-up volunteers (10-11:45 and 2-3);
contact Andrea or VolunteerSpot users wait for email request.
PTA will once again be running an online
fundraiser with Mabel’s Labels.
Ordering will be possible over the summer, so you
can have your child’s belongings labelled in time
for September. Look for the fundraiser on
ssespta.com
The Campbell’s Labels for Education program is a
great way to earn FREE merchandise for our school.
Check the bulletin board on our website for a
complete list of eligible products. Grab an envelope
and label it “Campbell’s”, keep in a handy location in
the kitchen for storing your labels.
We take this opportunity to thank everyone who has
participated in this program this year. If you have
labels at home, please do send them in before the
end of the school year.

Your PTA executive would like to extend a HUGE HEARTFELT THANK YOU to
everyone who helped make this year a success by volunteering time and/or
attending our events, especially our recent Spring Fair which raised approx.
$3,800.
As always PTA will host the ‘First Day of School Coffee House’ on Sept.6 and
Ice Cream Social in early September. We wish everyone a great June, a happy
and healthy summer and we look forward to reconnecting in September!
