Cultural life in Krasnoyarsk.
Krasnoyarsk is the most beautiful city, it is
the heart of Siberia, and, also, it is it’s a
cultural center. Every year lots of people come
here to look at the most wonderful places: the
Yenisey river, Stolby and amazing siberian
forests. But the nature is not the only
attraction in Krasnoyarsk. Also there are a lot
of places of entertainment. And now I’m going
to tell you about the most successful multiplex
in our cityLuch.
Every day many people enter Luch to amuse
themselves. It is popular among both young and
old people.
Multiplex is situated in the central
district of the city in Marksa street.
Before 2000 Multiplex had been just a cinema, that had
two halls and a pop-corn bar. But in 2000 it was going to
be sold.
With the help of the new
owner the cinema was turned
into a big multiplex. Firstly, its
square was 2450 m2 and after
the reconstruction it became
6500 m2.
Some time later the administration of the cinema began the auction
for renting it. There were four pretendents on Luch: «Picra»,
«Zelenaya zona», «Kinomir», «Maltat». Finally, in 2001 «Maltat»
became the owner of Luch.
Nowadays Luch is the most popular place of
entertainment in Krasnoyarsk. It can offer you :
First of all, three halls to watch films:
big(687 places), middle(234) and small(65)
Secondly, there are
Pop-corn bars on
the ground and on
the first floors.
Also, you can visit the
café «Am! Bar» ,where
people can buy fast
food.
Another interesting place is
the restaurant «Kaliostro»
that will offer you a
comfortable room for dinner,
good service and well-cooked
food.
Desert-hall «Snejnost». You can buy here different kinds of
tasty ice-cream.
And, finally, I’d like to tell you
about Summer terrace - for recreation
when it’s warm, and Play zone. It
includes the casino «Monte Kristo»,
billiard hall and video games on the
first floor of the multiplex.
At the end of this presentation I want to
say that multiplexes, cafes and restaurants
are important for our modern life, but people
mustn’t forget about nature…
