แล้ว จะทำให้ นำมนั้นมีควำมหมำยชี้เฉพำะเจำะจงทันที มีหลักสำคัญดังนี้
•ใช้ The นำหน้ ำนำมเอกพจน์ และพหูพจน์ ทชี่ ี้เฉพำะเจำะจง เนื่องจำกมีข้อควำม
ประกอบอยู่ ข้ อควำมทีป่ ระกอบอำจนำหน้ ำด้ วย in, at, on หรือ preposition
,วลี ( phrase ) , หรืออนุประโยค ( clause ) อืน่ ๆ เช่ น
