Great is Thy Faithfulness
O God My Father,
There is No Shadow of Turning With Thee
This year, CRWRC celebrates God’s
faithfulness through 50 years of ministry!
For almost 35 of those years, our
churches have sponsored
refugees from life-threatening
situations.
Providing them with friendship, support, advice,
and assistance as they started life in a new land.
You have been generous and God
has been faithful. Praise God!
Our work is not done.
Many families are still in
need of assistance.
Some wait several long
years after we apply to
sponsor them to Canada
before their claims are
processed.
Amina and
her
children
waited 7
years in
Kakuma
refugee
camp
before
they
arrived in
Canada in
2010.
It took even
longer for
Abdi
Muhidin to
arrive from
Somalia.
Just before Christmas 2011, Colette and
Francois arrived in Toronto.
Originally from the Democratic
Republic of the Congo, they had been
waiting 8 years.
Their parents and siblings are still waiting.
In order to
shorten wait
times, the
government of
Canada has
decided to
dramatically
reduce new
applications for
specific families
to come to
Canada
They hope this
will mean many
more arrivals of
people who
have been
waiting in
camps for many
years.
CRWRC has already met our limit for 2012,
but your help is still needed.
Please pray for the
millions of men,
women, and children
who are living as
refugees in our world
today.
Please give generously so that CRWRC can
continue working with and advocating for
refugees that come to Canada.

family with an urgent need of resettlement.
