July 14
Arrived by plane in Maine where ate delicious lobster. Tipical meal of this
state.
A few days in

Saw the famous Statue of Liberty.
It’s really extraordinary!!

July 23
Fished on the lake Michigan the biggest fish have seen in my life!!
On the coast just

Hitch-Hiked across Indiana.
Scary sometimes but great
people!

August 1
Today, could see impressive horserace, the most popular sport in
Kentucky!

Derby.

August 1st week
Practised watersking for the first time on a lake. But fell all the time!

Picked coton on a big plantation.
Very original activity but so tiring!

Heard a fantastic jazz band, the black trumpet player was
exceptional!

August 15
Saw breathtaking scenery in the coach in wich crossed texas.
But travel was so short to see everything.

Cliffs are so high, had fear of my life, hate rockclimbing!!

Camped in a teepee in
an indian reservation.
People was very
welcoming!
A card had bought in Supai in
northern Arizona.
Malibu beach in the
evening…

August - end
Ended my trip on a beautiful beach of California coast where tried to
surf.
Very funny but haven’t gift for this sport!
