I am Chan Fat Yau. I am now working in the Architectural
Services Department as a contract adviser. My duties include
providing advice on contractual issues, liaising with our legal
advisers on contractual matters and carrying out technical audits
on works contracts. In leisure hours, I like reading and seeing
movies.
I worked in the Electricity Legislation Division of EMSD for
about 9 years to enforce the Electricity Ordinance and its
subsidiary legislations. It involves public and trade education
through promotion, establishing and implementing safety standard,
and law enforcement for the safety of the public. Since 2009, I
was deployed to work in the airport for the operation and
maintenance of aviation related electrical and mechanical systems.

I am CHANG Kwok Fai, a Senior Land Surveyor in the Survey and
Mapping Office of the Lands Department. I am now responsible
for human resources management, which includes financial
management, recruitment, posting, staff relation and disciplines
etc. I have a 4-year-old son who has occupied almost all of my
leisure time, though I still will squeeze some time for watching
soccer games.
I am a Chief Management Services Officer in the MSO Grade.
Similar to other MSOs, I have worked in the Efficiency Unit and
departmental units of various Bureaux/Departments. Now, I am
the section head of the Management Review Section in the
Judiciary, and mainly responsible for leading different
management reviews, consultancy studies and projects.

Because of the small establishment of the Civil Aid Service
(Department), I, being the Staff Officer of the CAS, am the
Deputy Head of the Department and responsible for assisting the
Chief Staff Officer to manage the Department. To be a volunteer
by post, I am the Senior Assistant Commissioner (Operation) in
the CAS (Volunteer). I do have my busy and tough career.
I have my happy and blessed Christian family which is consisted of
my wife, a daughter and a son. My daughter and son are now
studying bachelor programme in different Universities in Hong
Kong.

Hi. I am Lorrience. I am now working in the Provident Funds
Branch of the Treasury. My main duties are to manage the
investment portfolios of various Funds and to monitor the
performance of the fund managers and custodians. At leisure
time, I like hiking, swimming, watching football matches etc.
I have been working in civil engineering field for 30 years. I like
travelling very much and every year I shall arrange at least two
half-month trips to various places. I also like sports activities a
lot, in particular ball games and scuba diving although I am not a
skillful diver. Unluckily, I got injury on my hip joint about two
years ago and could not play most of the sports games since then.

I am a member of the post-60s generation. After graduation, I
joined the Hong Kong Customs in 1989. I assumed the current post
this January to oversee the Customs affairs and cooperation
matters.
I live with my wife and my son in Shatin. My hobbies are diverse,
including travelling, reading, photography, watching movies and
sports activities.
I am Raymond (Ho) who is now teaming up with some 200 Labour
Inspectors tasked to check employers’ compliance with labour laws
and protect employees’ statutory rights. In the past 20 years, I
have also been engaged in running employment services for young
people, conciliating labour disputes, prosecuting employers
breaching labour laws and regulating the registration of trade
unions. During leisure time, I am busy looking after my kids and, if
time permits, doing jogging and watching movies.

I am a government dentist, working as Senior Dental Officer
(Admin) at the Dental Service Head Office at Wu Chung House,
Wanchai.
Majority of my work is to handle all sorts of
communication & correspondences from other government B&Ds,
from external parties such as LegCo, District Councils, political
parties etc by providing them with professional inputs and replies,
handling of clients’ feedbacks & complaints from internal (eligible
civil servants) and external parties (general public) on our dental
service, planning & implementation of adhoc projects and initiatives
on public dental service in collaboration with other government and
non government organizations, and coordination of departmental
training activities forour service. As I am a paediatric dentist,
apart from admin work, I also perform clinical duties at MacLehose
Dental Centre.
My clients are mainly children. I enjoy
communication with them which will bring me a lot of fun and help
me to relax from admin work.
During leisure time in Hong Kong, I enjoy movie and to go around
for good food with my husband. I like to travel as well in
particular to Japan because of the delicious food and hot spring
there.
I am an accountant in profession and joined ICAC in August 1994.

Previously, my duties are quite operational oriented and mainly
involved in the control and monitoring of drinking water quality in
Hong Kong. With the increase in public expectation and concerns
on issues related to the drinking water supply such as safety,
resources protection and water conservation, handling of public
enquiries and formulation of line-to-take have become an
important part of my daily activities now.
I am a Senior Scientic Officer of the Hong Kong Observatory in
charge of the Training and Exercises Division. I joined the
Observatory for nearly 20 years, and gained experience in various
fields including public and aviation weather services, weather
forecasting and numerical weather prediction. I have a son aged 5.
I find it challenging to be equally committed to work and family
being a working mother.

I am a Senior Structural Engineer in the Housing Department
and have mainly been involved in the planning and development of
the public housing. I had been in love with swimming/life-saving
when I was young, but what interests me most now is tennis,
which I have been playing for the past 15 years.
I am working as an Assistant Legal Adviser in the Legal Service
Division of the Legislative Council Secretariat. I have been
working in the Secretariat for about 20 years. During the past
two years, as a career development, I had the opportunities to
work in the Council Division of the Secretariat as a Council
Secretary doing committee work and Head of the Complaints
Division handling complaints from members of the public. I am
then posted back to the Legal Service Division to continue with
the work as a legal adviser.
I am interested in jogging and playing table tennis.

I am a statistician in the Government and have been worked in
different departments over the past twenty years, including
Census and Statistics Department, Planning Department and
Transport Department. I enjoy travel and reading, and have
been practicing Tai Chi for several years.
My work in the Hong Kong Public Libraries is to oversee the
operation of the Hong Kong Central Library, the provision of
territory-wide extension activities, the development of the digital
library, and to establish cooperation with local, Mainland China and
overseas libraries.
My personal interest is visual arts, with the experience as the
artist-in-residence on printmaking.

Ben, now 44 a father of a boy of 2 1/2 years old working in the
Official Solicitor’s Office for about 2 years, previously
attached to the Legal Aid Department. Ben has been a civil
servant for about 15 years. My favourite sport is soccer and
snooker. I am a fan of Man City don’t know the reason perhaps
because I dislike Man U most!
Having grown up in Hong Kong, I have a good living in this city –
receiving education, having marriage and working in the
Government. I have been holding a number of progressive
positions in a variety of fields: environmental hygiene, licensing,
human resources and training, etc. In my current post, I am
the officer in charge of the outsourcing matters in the Food
and Environmental Hygiene Department, which include arranging
for tender exercises and identifying outsourcing opportunity.
I would always share my personal time with my wife and friends.
My interests range from reading to hiking. When I have long
vacation, I would like to travel with my wife to other places and
countries.

LO Chi-lap is now working in the Education Bureau of Hong
Kong. I was once a Physics teacher of secondary school before.
I am experienced in the work of school inspection, curriculum
development, teacher training and Physics teaching at
secondary level. I am now responsible for the External School
Review (ESR) under the School Development and
Accountability Framework in Hong Kong.
I am a town planner in the Planning Department. My Section is
charged with the responsibilities to provide technical and
secretariat support to the statutory Town Planning Board
which is established under the Town Planning Ordinance
responsible for the systematic preparation of statutory town
plans to guide the proper use and development of land with the
objective of making Hong Kong a better place to live and work
in.
I love travelling and enjoy sailing.

I am Donald Mak, a Senior Systems Manager working in the Digital
Economy Division of the Office of the Government Chief
Information Officer (OGCIO) responsible for policy matters
relating to promotion of ICT adoption to SMEs, ICT industry
development, and IT manpower development of Hong Kong. I have
a varieties of hobbies, including photography, golfing, listening to
music, etc.
I come from an OSH law enforcement department but I am not a
law enforcer at present. My duty is to inculcate a safety culture in
different industries and the general public through various
promotion and publicity campaigns. We try to raise the safety
awareness of both the employers and employees so that they will
follow proper work procedures and will not take short cuts. This is
a soft way to prevent work accidents, but it takes a long time to
see the result.

I am the Deputy Registry Manager of the Public Search Division
in the Companies Registry. To prepare for the implementation
of the new Companies Ordinance, tentatively in 2014, I am now
actively participating in the enhancement of the information
system, planning of resources and review of procedures. Many
challenges will have to face in the year ahead. During my spare
time, I love to go shopping and watch movies.
Hi! My name is Moon-yiu, Tang. I am a civil engineer by profession.
I am now working in the Highways Department and am looking
after the 400km long roads at Hong Kong Island. It is a
challenging job because many of roads are narrow and steep, full
of various utilities underneath and densely populated along the
two sides. To keep myself in good shape, during weekends I play
tennis, hike and watch birds.

airline for about 12 years before joining Government Flying
Service as aircraft engineer. My present duties involve various
matters related to aircraft maintenance and aircraft
modification.
My hobbies are hiking and running. Both of them can raise my
spirit and relieve my stress.
I am Francis TSE and am now working in the Field Audit and
Investigation Unit of the Inland Revenue Department. As the
title suggests, my work is to tackle tax evasion.
I love playing basketball and soccer. Getting old, I now spend
more time as audience than as player. Though not a good cook, I
enjoy spending my time in the kitchen doing cookery.

I am currently employed as Senior Manager (Planning & Design)
in the Urban Renewal Authority, since 2008. Before joining URA
I have practiced in Consultant firms for nearly 10 years. My
main experience was attained by involvement in both government
and private jobs, and I worked as a professional in Architecture
field, namely a Registered Architect and an Authorized Person
(List I). My professional knowledge allowed me to contribute in
tackling HK ’ s redevelopment of old urban areas, a task I
equated as in some way helping and improving local people’s lives.
Mr. WONG Kwok-yin, Tony married with one son. He joined the
Hong Kong Police in 1989 as an Inspector and was promoted to
the rank of Superintendent in 2009. During the leisure time, he
spends most of the time with his family. Jogging is his favour
sport.

I am a registered social worker and have been working in the
Social Welfare Department (SWD) for 26 years. Currently, I
am responsible for the policy and service development in relation
to child protection and combating domestic violence. I also lead
a small team to implement the assistance programmes run by
SWD under the Community Care Initiative.
Although my working time is long, I keep doing physical exercise
everyday for health and fun. Running is my favorite sport
because it is a very efficient way to burn calorie and make me
relaxed.
I joined the Hong Kong Fire Services Department in 1985 and
have been working in different echelons including operational
rescue and fire fighting, fire protection, headquarters
administration, as well as the specialized diving team. Between
2009 and 2010, I worked in the Emergency Support Unit of the
Security Bureau. Jogging and hiking are my favorite activities.

healthcare services to persons in custody, quite challenging in
light of the ever-rising demand on the quality of healthcare.
With 20+ years of airport construction / management
experiences, I am in charge of the Airfield's Infrastructure
Management & Development, my works required an in-depth
aviation knowledge and innovation to make planning and also
negotiation and coordination with different stakeholders.

My duties in the Buildings Department are mainly concerned with
the enforcement action on dilapidated buildings and unauthorized
building works in private buildings. Over the past few years, our
department had encountered great challenges particularly after
the collapse of the buildings at Ma Tau Wai Road and the tragic
fire at Fa Yuen Street in 2010.
I am responsible for issues relating to data privacy, access to
information and management of departmental records in
Immigration Department. I have served in various divisions of
the Department for over 25 years and have handled few
unforgettable incidents.
I am a Gemini and have a variety of interests including tennis,
music and movie.
