What is Law & Public Safety
Tech Prep Program?
It is a partnership
between CMCTHS,
local colleges, and
the Cape May
CountyPolice
Academy.
Tech Prep provides our students
with the following:
College credit.
Special law
enforcement class
one certification.
Emergency
communication
officer certification.
First responder
First Aid/ CPR with
AED certification.
Exploratory Class
The Law and Public Safety Exploratory program
provides an overview of the three years of the Law
and Public Safety program. Through a variety of
career focused presentations, role play activities,
laboratory experiments and a career research
project, the Exploratory student will be exposed to
basic concepts, terminology and skills needed to
intelligently analyze the Law and Public Safety
program and decide if they want to pursue it in their
high school career.
