Welcome to the
CLIMIT & BIGCCS PhD Seminar 2013
at Lerkendal Stadium, Trondheim, 17-18 October 2013
The CLIMIT and BIGCCS PhD Seminar will be an excellent meeting
place for young researchers within CO2 capture and storage (CCS).
The seminar is also a very good opportunity to get a broad overview
of the latest achievements within CCS.
The programme and practical information is given on the following
pages. We hope you will enjoy the seminar.

About the Climit Programme
CLIMIT is the Norwegian research programme for accelerating the commercialization of CCS by
financial stimulation of research, development and demonstration.
The program includes CCS in fossil fuel-based power generation and industrial point source emissions.
The programme is managed by Gassnova in cooperation with the Research Council of Norway. Read
more at www.climit.no .
About BIGCCS
BIGCCS is an international CCS research centre. The BIGCCS Centre will enable sustainable power
generation from fossil fuels based on cost-effective CO2 capture, and safe transport and underground
storage of CO2. This will be achieved by building expertise and closing critical knowledge gaps of the
CO2 chain, and developing novel technologies in an extensive collaborative research effort.
