ÉDITORIAL
Voici venue la 24ème édition du
Marathon de La Rochelle Serge Vigot
et la 2ème, pour moi, en tant que
Président.
Après les craintes qui accompagnent
toujours une première fois, c’est avec
joie que je prépare, entouré de tous
les membres de l’association et des
salariés, ce nouveau défi.
Cette édition se présente sous de bons
auspices : les partenaires, anciens et
nouveaux, les salariés et les membres
de l’association, les bénévoles tout le
monde est sur le pont pour qu’encore
une fois, le dernier week-end de
novembre à La Rochelle rime avec
sport, convivialité et festivités.
Les épreuves du week-end restent
le MARATHON, le 10 kms et le
DUO, complétées cette année par le
challenge entreprises, véritable défi
lancé sur la distance du marathon par
des équipes de 4 athlètes en relais.
Ces courses retrouveront le même
cadre et le circuit habituel autour du
port, des Minimes, des parcs et de la
place de Verdun.
La chauffe-gambettes ouvrira les
festivités le samedi matin et c’est
plus de 10 000 participant(e)s qui se
partageront le bitume rochelais durant
2 jours.
Côté ravitaillements, outre ceux qui
se trouveront sur les parcours, on
peut toujours compter sur la célèbre
pasta-party qui conjugue efficacité et
convivialité.
Le marathon de La Rochelle Serge
Vigot ne serait pas ce qu’il est sans
le soutien des partenaires, publics et
privés, sans qui rien ne pourrait se faire
et que je remercie ici aujourd’hui.
La ferveur des spectateurs,
rochelais ou pas, a toujours été un
atout, un soutien aux athlètes élites,
amateurs, jeunes, moins jeunes,
femmes ou hommes, toutes et tous
apprécient l’enthousiasme populaire
soulevé par notre épreuve. Nous
comptons sur vous tous cette année
encore.
Comme vous pouvez le constater,
l’édition 2014 reste fidèle à ses grands
principes car il nous tient à cœur
d’allier performance, efficacité à
convivialité.
Nous remercions les fidèles qui
régulièrement viennent participer à la
fête et nous souhaitons la bienvenue
aux nouvelles et aux nouveaux, à
celles et ceux qui, pour la première
fois, partageront notre plaisir de courir.
Toute l’association, les membres du
bureau, les salariés se joignent à moi
pour vous souhaiter une belle édition
2014.

RÈGLEMENT
Art. 1. L’Association du Marathon de La Rochelle, regroupant
le Club ASPTT de La Rochelle et des individuels mordus de la
course à pied, organise le dimanche 30 novembre 2014 son
24ème Marathon.
Art. 2. Le parcours de 42,195 km - étalonné à l’aide de la méthode de la bicyclette calibrée - est constitué de deux boucles
intra-muros. Il est conforme au règlement de l’ I.A.A.F. et aux
dispositions réglementaires nationales de la charte des courses
hors stade F.F.A.
Art. 3. L’épreuve est ouverte aux licenciés et non licenciés
nés en 1994 ou avant (âge minimum de participation fixé à 20
ans). Tout athlète non licencié à la F.F.A., F.F.Triathlon, UFOLEP
ou FSGT doit fournir un certificat médical ou sa copie de non
contre-indication à la pratique de la course à pied en compétition
datant de moins d’1 an à la date de la course. Il est expressément rappelé que les coureurs participent à la compétition sous
leur propre responsabilité.
Art. 4. Les catégories d’âge donneront lieu à un classement
séparé conformément au règlement F.F.A. Il est indiqué que des
contrôles seront effectués durant l’épreuve afin d’assurer de
parfaites conditions de régularité de course.
Art. 5. Des contrôles anti-dopage seront effectués à l’arrivée,
sur les concurrents désignés par la F.F.A.
Art. 6. Le départ est fixé à 9 h 00, quai Maubec et quai Louis
Prunier. Le rassemblement des concurrents aura lieu sur les
lignes de départ à 8 h 45. Le temps limite imparti aux coureurs
pour boucler l’épreuve est de 5 h 30. Au-delà de ce temps, la
sécurité n’étant plus assurée sur le parcours, les concurrents
seront mis hors course.
Art. 15. Le Marathon étant classant et qualificatif, tout licencié
F.F.A. devra fournir à l’engagement une photocopie de licence
en cours. Pour ceux inscrits avec une licence 2013/2014 ou
un Pass Running expiré, ils devront nous fournir leur licence
2014/2015 ou leur Pass Running valide ou un certificat médical
original ou sa copie de non contre-indication à la pratique de la
course à pied en compétition, datant de moins d’un an à la date
de la course, lors du retrait des dossards.
Art. 16. Pour un bon déroulement de l’épreuve, les inscriptions
seront closes au plus tard le 14 novembre 2014.
Art. 17. Jusqu’au 15 juin 2014, le montant de l’inscription est
fixé à 43€ A partir du 16 juin 2014, l’engagement est fixé à 49€.
A compter du 2 septembre 2014, le montant de l’inscription est
de 54€. Le chronométrage « B-Tag ChronoTrack » inclus.
Art. 18. Art. 18. Les participants du 24e Marathon de La Rochelle Serge Vigot auront le « B-Tag ChronoTrack » comme système de chronométrage (bandelette collée au dos du dossard)
Art. 19. Le retrait des dossards ne pourra se faire que sur
présentation de la carte RETRAIT DOSSARDS envoyée début
novembre, (veuillez nous contacter entre le 8 et le 17 novembre
si vous ne l’avez pas reçue) et d’une pièce d’identité originale
ou sa photocopie. Aucun dossard ne sera envoyé par la poste
ou remis le dimanche matin. La Carte retrait dossard doit
OBLIGATOIREMENT être présentée pour pouvoir retirer son
dossard. Le village Marathon est ouvert le vendredi après-midi
28 novembre de 15h00 à 20h00 et le samedi 29 novembre de
9h00 à 20h30.

Art. 8. Des postes de contrôle et de chronométrage seront installés sur le parcours tous les 5 km.
Art. 20. Garantie annulation (= 6€) : en cas de maladie, blessure, accident de trajet, décès du conjoint, d’un ascendant ou
d’un descendant, un certificat médical ou un justificatif devra
être adressé au Marathon de La Rochelle Serge Vigot, au plus
tard le 29 novembre 2014, cachet de la poste faisant foi. Le remboursement sera de 43€ pour toute inscription à 49€ incluant
une assurance annulation, sur une base de 49€ pour tout engagement à 55€ et enfin, 54€ pour toute inscription à 60€.
Art. 9. En application de l’article 20 du Règlement de la
C.N.C.H.S. tout accompagnateur, notamment à bicyclette et à
roller, est interdit, sous peine de disqualification.
Art. 21. Le dossard est individuel, nominatif et non cessible
(aucune réattribution). Il est non ré-affectable sur l’épreuve du
10 Km ou du DUO, dès la réception de l’engagement.
Art. 10. La décision d’un juge arbitre, assisté de juges officiels
de course pour la régularité de l’épreuve, sera sans appel.
Des commissaires de course épaulés par des forces de Police
seront disposés sur le parcours pour veiller à la sécurité des
coureurs. Les enfants et accompagnateurs sont interdits sur la
ligne d’arrivée.
Art. 22. En cas de force majeure, de catastrophe naturelle ou
de toute autre circonstance mettant en danger la sécurité des

Art. 7. Des postes de ravitaillement seront mis en place du
départ à l’arrivée et installés tous les 5 km. Des postes d’eau
seront placés réglementairement dans ces intervalles de distance. Les organisateurs prévoient un repérage au sol (ligne
bleue) et le marquage visuel de tous les kilomètres.
Art. 11. Une assistance médicale sera assurée, sur le parcours
à l’arrivée. Les services médicaux d’urgence seront habilités à
mettre hors course tout concurrent paraissant inapte à poursuivre l’épreuve.
Art. 12. Les organisateurs sont couverts par une assurance responsabilité civile. Les licenciés bénéficient des garanties accordées par l’assurance liée à leur licence. Il incombe aux autres
participants de s’assurer personnellement.
Art. 13. Seuls les concurrents présents à la remise des prix
pourront prétendre aux récompenses et aux primes (envoyées
10 jours après la course et après les résultats anti-dopage pour
les athlètes contrôlés). Les lots mis en jeu sont exclusivement
destinés aux coureurs marathoniens.
Art. 14. Le classement par équipe mixte, réglementation de la
F.F.A., s’effectuera par l’addition des 4 meilleurs temps des adhérents d’un même club maître F.F.A., après vérification auprès
de la Fédération. Les prix seront transmis aux clubs.
Art. 23. Droit d’image. «J’autorise expressément les organisateurs du Marathon de La Rochelle Serge Vigot ainsi que leurs
ayants-droit tels que partenaires et médias à utiliser les images
fixes ou audiovisuelles sur lesquelles je pourrais apparaître,
prises à l’occasion de ma participation au Marathon de La Rochelle Serge Vigot, sur tous supports y compris les documents
promotionnels et/ou publicitaires, dans le monde entier et pour
la durée la plus longue prévue par la loi, les règlements, les
traités en vigueur, y compris pour les prolongations éventuelles
qui pourraient être apportées à cette durée», conformément à
la loi Informatique et Libertés du 6 janvier 1978.
Art. 24. Tout concurrent reconnaît avoir pris connaissance du
présent règlement et en accepter toutes les clauses sous peine
de disqualification.
Art. 25. L’organisation se dégage de toute responsabilité en cas
de vol ou perte d’effets personnels qui surviendrait durant le
week-end de la manifestation y compris pour les vestiaires.

les athletes
Pour la 10e année, nous organisons un départ anticipé pour
les athlètes atteints de cécité. L’an passé, ce sont 6 couples
de coureurs qui ont été accueillis dans le cadre de l’opération
Handisports. (Les prestations offertes sont identiques à celles
des athlètes en fauteuils, hormis les primes à l’arrivée).
For the 10th year running, we will be giving an early start for blind and partiallysighted athletes. Last year, there were 6 pairs of runners welcomed as part of the
‘Handisport’ operation.
(We offer the same benefits as for the wheelchair athletes, but without any special
prizes at the finishing line).

14th wheelchair half marathon
Créé en 2001, le Semi Handisports est devenu une
épreuve incontournable lors du week-end du Marathon de La Rochelle Serge Vigot. L’année passée,
ce sont 16 athlètes en fauteuils venant de la France
entière, qui ont participé à ce semi devenu l’une des
premières épreuves de France.
L’organisation désire les accueillir le mieux possible
en leur offrant :
• la pasta-party du samedi soir,
• l’hébergement du samedi soir,
• le coupe-vent, la bourriche d’huîtres Marennes Oléron, la médaille et le diplôme,
• la prime aux premiers (Cf. Récompenses – Page 9)
Le droit d’inscription est de seulement 15 €.

Created in 2001 the Wheelchair Half Marathon has now become an
important part of the Serge Vigot La Rochelle Marathon week-end. Last
year, there were 16 wheelchair athletes from all over France in this halfmarathon, which has become one of the biggest such races in France.
The organisers want to extend the best possible welcome to the
wheelchair athletes and so we offer them free of charge :
• the Saturday night Pasta-Party
• accommodation for the Saturday night
• a windcheater jacket, a basket of oysters Marennes Oléron, a medal
and an official certificate
• prizes for the first 10 finishers (Refer to ‘Prizes’ on page 9)
We only ask for a 15 € registration fee.
