 2013 Created government CIO systems, started to strengthen lateral cooperation,
and formulated “Declaration to be the World's Most Advanced IT Nation”
 2014 Revised the declaration

Office innovation to change work style
MIC(the Administrative Management Bureau) has started new office style since January
2015 to change the work style of government official and to depart from paper-dependent.
Effect of the office innovation
① Free-address office, Paper reduction
- individual document has reduced about 80%
- the number of print out(color) has reduced about 50%
② Staff communication has become well
- 70% of the staff feel very good about this office style
③ Wi-Fi、Electronic board
- meetings: Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere
