After official approval of documents shown
above at host university, all of them must
be submitted to the Immigration office to
get the Certificate of Eligibility, which
takes almost one month after submission

ACTIVITY BACKGROUND
1998 ~ 2001: Japanees Industry & Thai Universities survey visit
2002 : Visit 4 Thai partner universities
for research survey to find the possibility
for implementing internship program
2003 : Action interrupted by the threat of
SARS & Bird flu etc.
2004 : Further continuous discussion
whenever visited Thailand
2005 : Discussion with 6 Thai partner
universities for MOU
2014 : Applicant number is expanding to
even social science students
PROGRAM IMPLEMENTED
IN 2006
Visit four industries in Lampung in Thailand
through Chiang Mai University
Explanation of program purpose & getting the
response from industry
One MU student sent to Japanese industry
through SUT who is majoring mechanical
engineering, research student)
One student from SUT and the other from KU were
accepted. They stayed at industry for 2 and 3
minths respectively
Financial support were done for those students
partially
TOWARD THE FUTURE
Strengthening communication level of
participants in English
Relaxation of communication problem, Global
partnership building, Cross culture understanding
and friendship promotion achievement by joint
collaboration
Review & Reconsideration of university
curriculum
Mutual participation of students to unique
