EUCHARISTIC MIRACLE
PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN
In 1996, when the present Pope Francis was Auxiliary
Bishop of Buenos Aires, an amazing Eucharistic miracle
took place. He himself had it photographed and investigated scientifically and the results are astonishing. Watch...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?=APz1v8oz1ms
This awareness workshop will be presented at STA, Thursday, January 22, 7:00pm-10:00pm, Pastoral Center. Attendance by all adults working with children in our Parish
(e.g. Catechists, Aides, Class Parents, Coaches and Youth
Ministry) is mandatory. Due to mature theme, we request
that children, not attend. Registration: PREP (732-2511660.) Thank you.
BABY’S FIRST CHRISTMAS
The 12:00 Noon Mass on Sunday, January 4, will be a
special Mass for parents and their infants who were born
after December 25, 2013. The celebration will consist of a
special blessing for each child, and a reception for family
members will follow in the Pastoral Center. (Prior registration required.)
SICK LIST
We are always concerned about our parishioners and others
who are ill or homebound - - including those anonymously
recommended. However, in an effort to comply with Federal Privacy Laws (one non-Catholic church in Georgia
was already sued), we are establishing the following guidelines: Each person on the sick list must have a form on file
with the Pastoral Center, recommended by an immediate
family member (since individuals wish to remain anonymous) and the person will remain on the sick list for one
month (allowing others to be added). These guidelines will
be implemented on January 1, 2015. Please be sure to
keep all the sick and homebound in prayer regularly. Info:
Pastoral Center (732-251-4000).
BAPTISM
All parents must participate in our Baptismal
Preparation Program (if possible before the birth
of your child). Parish Room. Registration required. Next
session: Tuesday, January 27, 7:30pm. Remember, the
Sacrament of Baptism is a sacred event regulated by
Church (Canon) law. Do not plan any activity until dates
are confirmed (See page 3, top).

A Christmas Prayer
WHAT AN EYE OPENER!
Loving Father, help us to remember the birth of Jesus, that
we may share in the song of the
angels, the gladness of the shepherds, and the worship of the
wise men. Close the door of hate
and open the door of love all over the world. Let kindness
come with every gift and good desires with every greeting.
Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ brings,
and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.
May the Christmas morning make us happy to be Thy
children, and the Christmas evening bring us to our beds
with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus’
sake. Amen.
If you want to see what one person went through
(including suffering) on his journey to Christ, you have
to watch:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjUXd4qW9mg
The many individuals who have seen this 33 minute (Youtube!) video have the same reaction: “Once I watched a
minute or two, I couldn’t stop.”
PARISH SOUP KITCHEN
“For I was hungry and you gave me food…” Matt 25:35
What better way to affirm Christian charity than by helping
those among us in need? Please consider volunteering on
January 10, as STA initiates a Soup Kitchen. Info: Chris
Doyle: ([email protected] or 732-257-0994).
