such as transport, nine street collections, prayers.
• Organised so that one Conference covers the two parishes communities.
• Assisted and visited people in Strathmore Park, Seatoun, Miramar, some at
Kilbirnie, Lyall Bay, Newtown, Island Bay, and further afield.
• Funded our local activities through your kind donations, local donors, and
member collections for our costs of about $4,500.
• Parishioners, our Schools and supporters also donated about $4000 in food,
goods and furniture which we distributed to needy people.

What we are Planning Ahead and will be grateful for your support –
• Establishing our role in the Holy Cross Parish Miramar.
• Annual Feast Day Mass at St Anthony’s, 7pm, Thurs 25 September.
• Special Collection at our Masses on Sundays 14 and 21 September.
• Continue to support most needy students at Holy Cross and St
Anthony’s schools – clothing, footwear, activities. Would you
sponsor some of a child’s needs or donate anonymously through
SVDP as some kind parishioners are doing?
• Cooperating with parishioners and community – please let us know
about those who are sick, lonely, most in need.
• Appeals to parishioners for ‘one-off’ help such as for street appeals,
clothing, goods, food, transport, and donations.
YOUR PRAYERS HELP A LOT TOO

We welcome NEW MEMBERS
There’s more to do in the area. If you have love and compassion for
others, and have been thinking of this, please chat to any of us.
In closing, please join in this prayer for those in need, for all our
supporters, and for your local Vincentians –
As we go on our way,
may God go with us,
may he go before us to show the way,
behind us to encourage,
beside us to befriend,
above to watch over us,
and within to give us his peace. Amen.
