HOW WE COMMUNICATE
WITH YOUR STUDENT
We communicate with students in
the following ways:
• MyCSUDH Portal (students should be checking weekly)
• U.S. MAIL
• EMAIL
It is crucial for students to activate their MyCSUDH account as soon as
they receive their log-in information and to check their email often.
This will assure that they have the most up-to-date information on
Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration and Early Start Requirement .
APPEAL PROCESS
• A written Statement which clearly and concisely presents any new and
significant changes that serve as the basis for the appeal.
• Academic records which were not available at the time of application.
• If they are submitting additional academic records, their Statement
should include an explanation of why the additional information was not
available at the time of application.
• Official documentation of extenuating circumstances (for example:
doctors' records, death certificates, etc.). Appeals will be reviewed
within two weeks of submission.
•and
AAT or AS-T
TRANSFER STUDENTS
• CSUDH is not an impacted school, therefore
AA-T OR AS-T students will find their transfer to
us to be seamless.
• We require documentation from the community
college of their AA-T OR AS-T degree status.
Beyond this we do not have a special
admissions process. They are required, just like
any other student, to adhere to our deadlines
and core requirements for transfer.
