How to get the ideas?
 What
are you interested on?
 What you and your friends the same
interested?
 What things you doubt?
 What phenomenon you don’t know
its cause?
Do What you Like

If you're stuck, you're probably spending most of your
'thought time' on the fact that you don't have good
science fair project ideas in mind! Relax - the best way to
come up with ideas is to think about what you like.
What do we mean by that?
Ask Yourself Questions

There are, of course, many more aspects of a simple egg
that could be the basis of an experiment:
Why is it shaped the way it is?
 What is the shell made out of?
 What happens if it's subject to a chemical change, like being
submerged in vinegar for a long time?
All of these questions will lead to interesting Science fair project
ideas in their own right if taken far enough.


Ask enough questions

Science fair project ideas come from asking questions
about how things work, or why they are the way they are,
and then applying the scientific method to get real and
useful information. Ever wondered how tornados
worked? You might like doing a tornado science project.






What is this made of?
How did it form?
What can this be used for?
Is this created by a natural process or by humans?
Why is it this particular color/texture?
Does it float or sink? Why?

 Can a black light detect invisible stains?
 What type of plastic wrap prevents evaporation the best?
 What plastic wrap prevents oxidation the best?
 Are night insects attracted to lamps because of heat or
light?
 What type of car antifreeze is safest to the environment?

different levels of vitamin C?

Does the level of vitamin C in orange juice change over
time?
How effective are natural mosquito repellents?
Does magnetism affect the growth of plants?
Do oranges gain or lose vitamin C after being picked?
How does the sugar concentration vary in different
brands of apple juices?
Does storage temperature affect the pH of juice?
Does the presence of cigarette smoke affect the growth
rate of plants?
Does eating breakfast have an effect on school
performance? Does it matter what you eat?
