Purpose and Outline
Purpose: Show you an addition to Metro’s public website that lets people
find out about Metro bus stops.

How it works
1. You type something into the WMATA web form.
2. The bus stop ID is found based on your input.
3. The ID is passed from external web session through WMATA’s
security firewall into our GIS.
4. The GIS reads the ID and fetches data from geodatabase.
5. Data includes photos, info, and map.
6. Web service sends data to external session, where you see it.
