GROUP ACTIVITY
Each group will receive:
• An envelope containing 8 small cards and a
handout of the listed mathematical practices:
• A large handout for each of the 8 practices.
Instructions:
• Match each of the 8 small cards with its
mathematical practice (using the handout of the
listed mathematical practices).
• Hold up the large card for the practice when asked
as we review each one.

GROUP ACTIVITY
Each group will receive:
• An envelope containing 8 small cards and a
handout of the listed mathematical practices:
• A one page handout of what the practice looks like
in the classroom.
Instructions:
• Match each of the 8 small cards with its
mathematical practice (using the handout of the
listed mathematical practices.
• Each group will place their one large card under the
matching practice on the chart paper.
