Safe-guarding on
the trip
O We have a ratio of 13:126 with regards to adults and children.
O Every 10 pupils will be assigned a member of staff who they
must report to at intervals during the day. This encourages
regular head counts with a familiar face and a small group
mentality.
O Pupils will remain in fixed zones for a time before moving on to
the next one. All pupils leave together.
O 1 member of staff (KHL/KJ/PE) will always base themselves in
a fixed point made known to every pupil. Pupils can report to
this member of staff for whatever reason.
O Pupils will be provided with an information card containing
important information such as staff phone numbers, hotel
name and address etc…
O
Medical
requirements
Please provide any medication in advance
with clear, simple instruction if required.

Valuables
O “The insurance DOES NOT cover loss, theft or
damage to mobile phones, audio, video and
computer equipment.
O With this in mind, I must stress that any of these
items taken on the trip are at your own risk.
O I suggest that you check your personal
insurance to ensure that such items are
covered. It would also be difficult to report
theft/ losses to the police while we are abroad
and this could make if difficult to claim on your
personal insurance. I therefore suggest that any
valuable items are not brought on the trip.”
