Everyone’s
metabolism
naturally
slows down
with age!
What Is
Metabolism:
Metabolism is the amount of
energy (calories) your body
burns to maintain itself.
Whether you are eating,
drinking, sleeping, cleaning
etc... your body is constantly
burning calories to keep you
going.
Metabolic Rate Loss
With Age:
After age 25, we lose 5-7 Lbs of muscle every
decade unless we exercise regularly
 20% loss in metabolic rate each decade
 Result: we get weaker and fatter!
By age 30’s and 40’s, we’re not gaining in exercise
and thus, burning less calories
