Students can apply to one or both classes and work on project-based lessons - An application process will be made public in the coming months and students will gain entry to the program based on a rubric. 7/21/2015 [email protected] 13 Important Dates • March 5th - 7:00 PM – 6th Grade Parent Orientation • March 12th - Registration packets due to elementary building. • May 11th and 15th – Articulations at the elementary schools (Scotch and Roosevelt) • May – Scotch and Roosevelt visit Abbott • June – 6th grade ELA teacher goes to Scotch and Roosevelt to talk about summer reading. • August 27th – 6th grade summer orientation (schedule, chromebook, locker, picture taken. • September 8th – first day for students 7/21/2015 [email protected] 14
