Classroom Community
Our classroom is a learning community. In
our community, we establish ground rules
together to help us learn and grow
throughout the school year.
Our class rules begin with, but are not limited
to:
Follow directions the first time they are given
Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself at all times
Speak kindly
Try your best/hardest
Have fun!
Discipline
When a classroom ground rule or Banner Core
Value is broken, the following steps will be
taken:
Green: Verbal Warning
Yellow: Lose 10 minutes of recess
Red: Lose all of recess and complete a think sheet
Students will keep track of their behavior in their
assignment notebook daily by coloring how they
did each day, along with a note for why they
flipped their card.
Students who received a red will bring home a
think sheet for you to sign.
Birthdays
Throughout the school year we will recognize
birthdays and half birthdays.
If you wish to send a treat, please make sure
you have 30 treats.
