Black kite This is a medium-sized bird. They are opportunistic hunters and are more likely to scavenge. They spend a lot of time soaring in the sky, in search of food. Their angled wing and forked tail make them easy to identify. kite_sound.mp3
Crow These are very commonly seen across India. They usually feed on the ground and eat almost anything. Hence they are also called scavengers.

Indian grey hornbill The Indian Grey Hornbill is mostly arboreal and is commonly sighted in pairs. They have grey feathers all over the body with a light grey or dull white belly. The horn is black or dark grey
Kingfisher Kingfisher: It has blue upperparts, orange underparts and a long bill. It feeds mainly on fish. They have short legs and strong feet, since they spend most of their time perched on a stalk, twig, or branch while keeping an eye out for a meal. kingfisher.mp3
The egret is a heron with attractive white plumes on crest, back and chest. Its legs are black and has yellow and black bill.

Red whiskered bulbul The Red-Whiskered Bulbul gets its name from the red whisker patch located below its eye. This bird feeds on a variety of fruits, insects and flower buds.

Rose ringed parakeet The Rose-ringed parakeet is a gregarious tropical parakeet species. They are popular as pets. These non migrating species and have successfully adapted to living in urban areas.

White cheeked bulbul These are small birds with a white patch on the cheek. It is found in scrub forest and gardenland. They are usually seen in pairs or small groups. It feeds on fruits and insects.
