First responsibility is to the safety of themselves and
the BGA Community.
 Second responsibility act in a responsible manner
and follow directions.
 Third responsibility is to be responsible for their own
actions and move quickly and quietly as directed.
 Fourth responsibility is to be certain to assemble
with their teachers and are accounted for by their
teachers.
 Fifth responsibility is to remember that personal
items are not important, people are.
 Sixth responsibility is to make sure that no cell
phones or other electronic devises are used.

Be aware of fire/evacuation routes.
 Leave building quietly and orderly.
 Follow teacher’s directions and stay with
class.
 Missing students should be reported to a
teacher/CMT.

Evacuate at sound when instructed to do
so by Administration.
 Do not touch electrical devices.

 Go quietly to John Adams Middle School
or alternate evacuation site.

Classroom door will be immediately locked
and not opened.
Move to a safe area.
Disregard any fire alarms
Outside classes do not enter building.
All students remain silent.
Cafeteria students go under tables.
Library students go to the right side wall past
the classroom windows.
No one allowed to leave or enter
building.
 Do not go to your locker, stay with class.
 No cell phones or electrical devices.
 Report to assigned areas, Main Gym,
Little Theater, and Cafeteria.
 Follow directions of teacher/CMT
 Emergency boxes will be available.
 Remain alert and quiet.


Re - Locate to ground floor when you hear
announcement by principal,
“Tornado Warning.”
TORNADO WARNING MEANS THAT A TORNADO HAS
BEEN SPOTTED AND ITS TIME TO MOVE TO A SAFE
AREA.
Do not go to your locker, stay with class.
No cell phones or electrical devices.
Report to assigned areas on first/ground floors.
Follow directions of teacher/CMT
Remain alert and quiet.






Re - Locate when hear the announcement by
principal, “Hurricane warning.”
A HURRICANE WARNING MEANS THAT HURRICANE
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WITHIN THE WARNING
AREA WITHIN THE NEXT 24 HOURS.
Do not go to lockers and stay with your class.
Report to assigned areas on first/ground floors.
Follow directions of teacher or CMT member
Remain Quiet and alert.
