•
•
•
Go to www.academyofholyangels.org
Click on the Sign in area in the upper right hand corner
Then enter student ID and password
Next click on the NetClassroom link
Must use Internet Explorer or Firefox as your web
browser (Do Not Use Google Chrome!)
• When locating courses, use the binoculars!
Those steps will take a student to their personal
NetClassroom page shown on the next slide.
Your personal NetClassroom page will look something like this. On the top of
this page, click on the “Classes” tab, and then on the “Registration” tab—which
will bring you to this page where you’ll click on “Edit Requests”
After selecting edit requests, you’ll get to a screen that looks like this. You’ll be
entering for 21 requests (study halls/commons + academic classes) so, click
[New] 21 times
Then fill in your 21 requests by clicking on the binoculars (one at a time) and
selecting courses by using your paper Course Request Sheet as a guide
(perhaps you’ve already circled choices). To use the binoculars you’ll need to
enter either the course number or name each time and then highlight the
course in order for it to be listed as one of your 21 requests. You can also skip the
binoculars and type the full number and letter sequence directly into the box. However, if typing the
course number directly doesn’t work, please use the binoculars.
that 21 courses have been selected.
You will do this process so
This is the screen you’ll see if you choose to search for a particular course
using the binoculars. After you’ve typed in the course number, you will hit
[Search] to locate the exact course. Again, you'll need to click on the course in
order for it to appear on their course request page..
Eventually you’ll end up with 21 course requests (study halls/commons +
courses). This is the goal! Lastly, you will scroll to the bottom of the page and
click “Submit.”
If you’ve chosen incorrectly for a particular course, you can use the edit request
button to change the course request. To do this, highlight the incorrect request
by clicking the small box in the left hand margin to highlight the course and then
click “delete”. A message will appear [Are you sure you want to delete…] Click
OK, then select [new] to provide a spot to replace the deleted course. Then
select the appropriate course by using the binoculars or typing in the course
number as was mentioned previously.
If you select a course that has an exception listed in the [Exceptions] column, it
means you cannot take that course for one reason or another (lack of pre-requisite or
such). In that case, you must [Delete] it and select another. You will then follow
the same procedure as mentioned earlier to delete and replace with a new
course. If you think you should be able to take a particular course for which you are getting an
exception, please contact the counseling department.
When you’ve selected all 21 requests (again, study halls and commons are part
of the 21) and determined they are the correct choices, click on “submit” to
finalize your part of the course request process. You are done and the list of
your requests will eventually be mailed to your parents for review.
