“I am the vine”
“I am the vine”
“No more fiendish punishment could be
devised, were such a thing physically
possible, than that one should be turned
loose in society and remain absolutely
unnoticed by all the members thereof. If no
one turned around when we entered,
answered when we spoke, or minded what
we did, but if every person we met ‘cut us
dead,’ and acted as if we were non-existent
things, a kind of rage and impotent despair
would before long well up in us, from
which the cruellest bodily torture would be
a relief.”

“I am the vine”
“I am the vine”
I will sing for the one I love a song
about his vineyard:
“My loved one had a vineyard on a
fertile hillside. He dug it up and
cleared it of stones and planted it
with the choicest vines. He built a
watchtower in it and cut out a
winepress as well.”
Isaiah 5:1-2
“I am the vine”
“Then he looked for a crop of good
grapes, but it yielded only bad
fruit.”
Isaiah 5:2
“I am the vine”
"Now you dwellers in Jerusalem
and men of Judah, judge between
me and my vineyard. What more
could have been done for my
vineyard than I have done for it?
When I looked for good grapes, why
did it yield only bad?
Isaiah 5:3-4
“I am the vine”
“Now I will tell you what I am going
to do to my vineyard: I will take
away its hedge, and it will be
destroyed; I will break down its
wall, and it will be trampled. I will
make it a wasteland, neither
pruned nor cultivated, and briers
and thorns will grow there. I will
command the clouds not to rain on
it.”
Isaiah 5:5-6
“I am the vine”
The vineyard of the LORD Almighty
is the house of Israel, and the
people of Judah are the garden of
his delight.
And he looked for justice, but saw
bloodshed; for righteousness, but
heard cries of distress.
Isaiah 5:7
“I am the vine”
“I am the true vine”
“I am the vine”
In the beginning was the Word, and
the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.
John 1:1
The Word became flesh and made
his dwelling among us.
John 1:14
“I am the vine”
“I am the
vine.
You are the
branches.”
“I am the vine”
Remain in me, and I will remain in
you. No branch can bear fruit by
itself; it must remain in the vine.
Neither can you bear fruit unless
you remain in me.
John 15:4
“I am the vine”
"I am the vine; you are the
branches. If a person remains in me
and I in him, he will bear much
fruit; apart from me you can do
nothing.
John 15:5
“I am the vine”
Anyone does not remain in me is
like a branch that is thrown away
and withers; such branches are
picked up, thrown into the fire and
burned.
John 15:6
“I am the vine”
Remain in me, and I will remain in
you. No branch can bear fruit by
itself; it must remain in the vine.
Neither can you bear fruit unless
you remain in me.
John 15:4
“I am the vine”
As the Father has loved me, so have
I loved you. Now remain in my love.
John 15:9
“I am the vine”
If you obey my commands, you will
remain in my love, just as I have
obeyed my Father's commands and
remain in his love.
John 15:10
“I am the vine”
I have told you this so that my joy
may be in you and that your joy
may be complete.
John 15:11
“I am the vine”
My command is this: Love each
other as I have loved you.
John 15:12
“I am the vine”
If you obey my commands, you will
remain in my love, just as I have
obeyed my Father's commands and
remain in his love.
John 15:10
“I am the vine”
You are my friends if you do what I
command. I no longer call you
servants, because a servant does
not know his master's business.
Instead, I have called you friends,
for everything that I learned from
my Father I have made known to
you.
John 15:14-15
“I am the vine”
If you obey my commands, you will
remain in my love, just as I have
obeyed my Father's commands and
remain in his love.
John 15:10
“I am the vine”
“I am the vine”
"I am the true vine, and my Father
is the gardener.”
“He cuts off every branch in me
that bears no fruit, while every
branch that does bear fruit he
prunes so that it will be even more
fruitful.”
John 15:1-2
