Discuss the difference between the
development of Chinese art and
Western art
The style of Western art has
changed many times since the 5th
century AD. Chinese art, on the
other hand, has changed less often,
and most traditional styles still
remain. Art is influenced by the way
of life and beliefs of the people.
Unlike Europe, China has been
united by language,Writing, religion
(especially Taoism and Buddhism)
Dynastic rule and the philosophy of
confucianism for a very long time.
Also, the past is more valued in
China than it is in the West.
How about its writing style?
It’s writing style is: Arranged well in
the order of time; Catch the feature
of people and things and use
adjectives very exactly; Lay the
stress on the main subjects and
purpose, writing details and briefs
properly; Insert the typical paintings
to make the passage more vivid and
lively.
3.Why did the impressionists have to
paint quickly?
they had to paint quickly because
natural light changed quickly ,
The impressionists were the first
artists to paint outdoors.
He is always the last one to leave the
classroom.
2.How did Masaccio paint his paintings?
He drew things in perspective, which
made pictures very realistic.
In the Renaissance, new ideas and values
took the place of those that were held in
the Middle Ages.
Loving art can make life more delightful!
That is, the painter doesn’t attempt to
paint objects as we see them with our
eyes, but instead concentrates on
certain qualities of the object, using
colour, line and shape to represent
them.

in pairs to discuss these questions.
