How To make a Large Group Work
Effectively
 5 procedures that could make a group
work well as a team to get the job done:
 A) Select people that have a genuine interest in getting
the task done and reaching the goals.
 B) Give committee members a feeling of ownership –
they must feel that they have input in the outcome.
 C) Continuity – people need to stay involved and focus
on the task and if there is transition of people that it is
handled easily. ( “ The show still goes on.”)
How To Make a Large Group Work Effectively

 D) A large group must delegate responsibility to
smaller groups. ( sub committees must then take the
ownership)
