Mission
BioMediTech’s mission is to promote and take responsibility for the
research and the development of operational preconditions of
biotechnology and related technical sciences. The Institute's mission, within
the framework of its strategy, is to take for assessment and further
development the potential innovations emerging from research, as well as
their appropriate protection for further commercial utilization. As part of
the innovation development process BMT's mission is also to make
preparations and supervise the optimal commercialization of the potential
products.
Suomeksi: BioMediTechin tehtävänä on edistää ja vastata bioteknologian ja siihen liittyvän
tekniikan alan tutkimuksesta sekä sen toimintaedellytysten kehittämisestä.
Instituutin tehtävänä on strategiansa puitteissa ottaa arvioitavaksi ja edelleen
kehitettäviksi tutkimuksen piiristä nousevat potentiaaliset innovaatiot sekä suojata
ne asianmukaisesti kaupallista hyödyntämistä silmällä pitäen. Osana innovaation
kehittämisprosessia BMT:n tehtävänä on myös valmistella ja valvoa potentiaalisten
tuotteiden optimaalinen kaupallistaminen.
