Positive/Negative Feedback?
• Faculty is always very positive about technology help received
• Positive. It was a huge hole in our staffing and faculty wish that they
could have even more personal assistance with projects.
• In general, the faculty and administration appreciated the support
services provided by the two FT educational technology positions…
• Faculty members and administrators appreciate the individualized
attention and support.
• The problem is that the person has many other duties (reference,
teaching) and faculty would like more help but Dean doesn't want to
add other librarian to make current ET job exclusive.
• The faculty really like having someone focused on their technology
needs. They often point me out when showing faculty candidates
around.

Does Collaboration Work Well?
• Yes, but there does seem to be occasional "territorial" issues.
• Systems & faculty support have different values & priorities
• Ed Tech person attends central IT meetings, we have had
various issues that required collaboration and some worked
better than others. Generally a good relationship.
• The person works in the IT department.
• It is a struggle but we do fairly well now.
• Depends on the person and circumstance ... I don't have a
yes / no response.
• Generally it only involves classroom network issues and
streaming live video.
• We would collaborate, if IT would give us the time of day. Lol
