Restaurant Choices
Enjoy dinner on Thursday evening with a small group of fellow conference
attendees at one of several fine Downtown Yakima restaurant’s. Choose
from Mexican, Thai, Italian, French, or Northwest cuisine. Sign up during the
day to have dinner at the restaurant of your choice…group size at each
restaurant will be limited.
Santiago’s
Offering gourmet Mexican cuisine, Santiago’s is a Yakima Valley favorite and
the winner of numerous regional and national culinary awards. Originally
opened in 1980, Santiago’s has been at its current Downtown Yakima location
for the last 20 years. Entrée Price Range - $8.00 - $16.00
Siam HOUSE Thai restaurant
One of Central Washington’s oldest Thai restaurants, Siam House treats visitors
to authentic Thai cuisine. With more than 60 items on the menu, Siam House
has something to satisfy everyone’s taste. But be careful in choosing your
“degree of heat!” Entrée Price Range - $9.00 - $10.00
Russillo’s – Tuscany
The first Russillo’s, whose décor and menu are both influenced by the Italian
city of Venice, opened in Yakima 3 years ago. The second Russillo’s, which
follows a theme based on the Tuscany region of Italy, opened in early
September to rave reviews. Featuring streetscape architecture and regular
live music (including on Thursday), Russillo’s - Tuscany is as much an experience
as it is a restaurant. Entrée Price Range - $8.00 - $19.00
Carousel
Holding the distinction as Yakima’s one and only fine French restaurant, the
Carousel has become a destination point for tourists and locals alike since
opening in 2003. Located on the first floor of what used to be Yakima’s Opera
House, the Carousel provides a relaxing atmosphere and food that is beyond
compare. Entrée Price Range - $16.50 - $28.50
Greystone
The Lund Building, one of Yakima’s oldest structures, is home to the Greystone, long
one of Yakima’s finest restaurants. Serving its refined version of Northwest cuisine, the
Greystone has earned it reputation as the preferred choice of discriminating diners
since plating its first meal more than 20 years ago.
