Background and Activities
Faculty and staff in the Systems Engineering has been engaged for the last
two decades in the area of maintenance in different forms:
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
in Maintenance Planning
Developing an associate and MS degree programs in maintenance
Authored several books
Conducted several Semi Annual workshops
Actively engaged in conferences participation and journal
publication.
Founded and edited an international journal in the area of
maintenance that completed 15 years and won four prizes

Objectives
The CEIM mission shall be accomplished by pursuing the following
objectives:
1. High-quality industrial projects and training :
“Conduct projects and relevant training programs in the area of
maintenance for industry that meet or exceed their expectations”
2. Excellence in basic and applied research:
“Conduct original and high-quality basic and applied research at the
frontier of the area of maintenance”
3. Enhance the educational process for students:
“Assist students in conducting their master's theses, senior projects
and co-op training programs through effective links with industry”
4. Transfer knowledge and Best Practices:
“Develop strong links and partnerships with international experts and
centers”
