It's hard to describe how much better the QCM 8200M is than my Martin Yale 7000E. It cost less than half as much, requires about a tenth of the force to cut through a 1 inch stack of 65# card stock, the clamp mechanism works much more freely, stock is easier to remove from the clamp, the blade is easily replaced and leveled within minutes, the cuts are cleaner and more precise, I could go on and on.
